Work Environment\n

This role is set within a climate-controlled hospice center, allowing for a comfortable, distraction-free office setting. Although the position is remote, you will engage daily with multidisciplinary team members and collaborate closely with healthcare providers via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses to evaluate patients' mental health status using standardized tools, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).

• Develop individualized treatment plans that account for cultural diversity and specific needs of the patient population, ensuring the approach is tailored and respectful.

• Monitor patient progress continually, providing interventions and therapeutic strategies that align with their evolving mental health needs.

• Document and maintain accurate treatment records and reports using current technology, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal protocols.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are designed with agreed-upon objectives and promote safety and symptom management.

• Facilitate referrals to additional services, acting as a liaison between patients and other mental health or community resources with established connections.

• Provide education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals.

• Participate in peer-to-peer review and clinical collaboration under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, contributing to team development and maintaining high practice standards.
