Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Healing Garden, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the Medical Director and the Medical Team Administrator to coordinate effective mental health treatment strategies both within our facility and in the community.
\n
• Delivering mental health in-service training to the medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and best practices.
\n
• Intervening and managing mental health crises, utilizing your skills to stabilize situations and provide immediate support to clients in need.
\n
• Participating in commitment hearings as necessary, ensuring that legal and clinical considerations are fully addressed in patient cases.
\n
• Creating tailored treatment plans and setting achievable goals for each patient based on comprehensive assessments and histories.
\n
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive medical records.
\n
• Verifying clients' past mental health histories, including any psychotropic medications and their impacts, to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Compiling and submitting regular reports on patient progress and outcomes, contributing to the ongoing improvement of service delivery.

• Collaborating with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate post-release referrals that ensure ongoing support for our clients.

Qualifications\n
