Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to equip them for their recovery journey.
\n
• Track and document clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring integrated care for clients by sharing insights and strategies.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field to enhance treatment strategies and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans as per legal and ethical regulations.

• Participate in case consultations, professional development workshops, and team meetings to foster clinical excellence.

• Advocate for clients by promoting understanding and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele may come from various socio-economic backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. Your compassionate approach and expertise will help to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients feel valued and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, notably CBT and DBT.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A history of successful treatment outcomes with mood disorder clients is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
