Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist (High Volume) Location: Pico Rivera, CA Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | Standard business hours Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment. This role is responsible for processing large quantities of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely payments, and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency Verify invoice details, including pricing, approvals, and proper coding Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation when applicable Prepare and assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with vendors and internal teams Maintain accurate vendor records and support vendor setup as needed Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable Maintain organized AP files and documentation in accordance with company standards Support audits by providing requested AP documentation Perform additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience preferred Strong data entry and reconciliation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems or ERP platforms High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team Work Environment Fast-paced office setting Requires the ability to meet daily processing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
