Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify the mental health needs of new clients and develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique situations and goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation through detailed progress notes that reflect patient interactions, treatment progress, and any modifications to treatment plans.

• Promote a supportive and therapeutic environment by effectively managing counseling sessions with professionalism and empathy.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with state licensure regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing mental health support to hospice patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in addressing the psychological and emotional needs of individuals dealing with terminal illness, grief, and loss. This may involve collaborating with medical teams, family members, and other caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
\n
• Must possess a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in clinical settings, particularly with hospice or palliative care is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in behavioral therapy modalities and demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and creating accurate progress notes.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in hospice, grief counseling, or working with terminally ill patients will be given special consideration. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
