As an SLP-CCC, you’ll work collaboratively within an educational team to address communication needs and support student success.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license valid in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans and maintain detailed records
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies and therapy programs
• Conduct therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
• Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Consult with educators and families to ensure coordinated support
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for students
• Maintain adherence to ethical, legal, and procedural requirements for documentation and privacy
