Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve at Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center represent a wide demographic, including teenagers, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often experience anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and stress management issues. You will play a pivotal role in providing them with the tools and support needed to navigate their mental health journeys successfully.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active mental health licensure in Pennsylvania (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).

• At least two years of experience in individual therapy; experience in trauma-informed care is preferred.

While a background in trauma therapy is not required, it is highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital documentation—using platforms like TheraNest or similar—is preferred but can be learned on the job.
