Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of clients’ needs and circumstances.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care, leveraging the strengths of varied professionals within the organization.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records compliant with ethical and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality and data security.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and training to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily serve individuals and families with limited access to mental health services. Our ideal candidate will address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. A strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele is essential to foster trusting therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, specifically in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and relevant communication technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time role ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to competitive compensation, employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package including dental, vision, and health insurance. Providing malpractice insurance is also included, and counselors will receive numerous client referrals to help build their caseloads swiftly. Furthermore, we assist with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care and less on administrative tasks.
