Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs, applying diagnostic tools like the DSM-5. Develop tailored treatment plans that respect cultural diversity and meet the individual requirements of each patient.

  Implement ongoing evaluations of patient progress and utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to support mental health concerns, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. As a mental health counselor in this specialty area, you will provide vital therapeutic support to help navigate the psychological challenges that arise from diagnosis, treatment, and the overall impact of cancer on lifestyle and relationships.

Qualifications\n

  A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
