Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, carefully considering each client's background, to devise individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to client needs, while maintaining cultural responsiveness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues and fostering resilience, utilizing interactive and engaging techniques.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.

• Offer crisis intervention support, remaining calm and composed to assist clients during emergencies or critical situations.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to practice in the state of New Jersey.

• Profound understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a keen focus on cultural competence.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering therapy, both individually and in groups, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling strong rapport-building with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
