Work Environment\n

This remote role offers you the flexibility to manage your schedule while engaging with patients from the comfort of your own home. Although you will primarily work independently, you will remain an integral part of a collaborative practice, contributing to case discussions and team meeting initiatives. Expect a structured work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as the occasional requirement for evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that provide insight into patients' psychological states, ensuring an evidence-based approach to treatment.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing therapeutic progress.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to provide effective interventions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing coping strategies and fostering emotional resilience among patients.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive and integrated care solutions.

• Provide interventions during crises, ensuring that clients receive immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, possible treatment pathways, and available community resources to facilitate understanding and involvement in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals navigating complex life situations and varying levels of mental health disorders. Clients may range from children and adolescents managing anxiety and depression to adults dealing with past traumas or emerging personality disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these individuals manage their conditions and improve their coping skills, thereby enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your ability to deliver high-quality therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
