Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, utilizing advanced assessment techniques to inform the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life. This includes utilizing specialized manual therapy techniques and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises.
• Actively collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to create a seamless continuum of care focused on optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Document patient progress rigorously, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations, thus facilitating effective communication among the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and return to their normal activities. You will connect deeply with each patient, fostering a therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy and support.

Qualifications

• Education: A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience, ideally within outpatient or orthopedic settings.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, we prefer candidates who have worked in orthopedic rehabilitation settings and have demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
