Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, including their emotional, psychological, and behavioral well-being, to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring proper tracking of progress and modification of plans as necessary.

• Engage in regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies and tools to effectively navigate their challenges.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to provide integrated care and appropriate referrals when needed.

• Maintain meticulous records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational confidentiality guidelines.

• Actively participate in continuous professional development and staff training sessions to remain current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, utilizing strong conflict resolution skills while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Active Path Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population. Your clients may face a broad range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and eating disorders. Your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet cultural, linguistic, and situational needs will be essential in helping clients achieve their personal mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in the mental health field.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy in a teletherapy format.
