Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote healing and resilience.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care and optimize patients’ treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult times, ensuring clients feel heard and valued, and refer them to additional resources as needed.

• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and high standards of documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in staff meetings, case discussions, and peer supervision, elevating the quality of care for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with patients at the hospice center, who are often coping with terminal diagnoses. This role requires sensitivity, compassion, and a nuanced understanding of end-of-life issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current licensure (LCSW) to practice as a clinical social worker in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
