Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, leveraging telehealth platforms that allow counselors to connect with patients from the comfort of their own homes or preferred locations. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a consistent schedule for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand the specific needs of each patient, facilitating the creation of an individualized treatment plan tailored to their experiences and mental health goals.

• Engage in enlightening discussions with clients about their concerns, ensuring to actively listen and validate their feelings while diagnosing their mental or emotional disorders.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment strategies, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and other modalities suited to trauma therapy.

• Educate patients on effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma and provide resources to facilitate personal growth and recovery.

• Stay current with best practices and evolving methods in mental health therapy through ongoing education and training, which is essential for maintaining your National Certified Counselor certification.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
