Work Environment\n

This position is set in a remote work environment, allowing you the flexibility to manage your time effectively. While our outpatient office operates Monday through Saturday, we offer our therapists the freedom to create their own schedules. In addition, we provide robust support systems, including in-house credentialing and a comprehensive management framework for your insurance participation and patient scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Fire Wellness Center, you will play a critical role in assessing and treating diverse client needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, to develop appropriate treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other interventions tailored to client goals.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
\n
• Documenting all interactions and treatment plans meticulously as per department guidelines to maintain care continuity and compliance.
\n
• Providing case management services to coordinate care with community resources and professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings, case discussions, and patient rounds to maintain a collaborative and informed treatment environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals across various age groups who face a multitude of mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will help clients develop coping strategies and work towards their treatment goals, ultimately leading to significant improvements in their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of New Jersey is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential, along with demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic interventions.

• Candidates must be willing to commit to providing therapy sessions for 10 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within an outpatient setting is preferred. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and a strong background in assessment and treatment planning will greatly benefit your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
