Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and disabilities, formulating tailored treatment plans to optimize recovery.
• Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers and be proactive in consulting on the continuum of care for individual patients.
• Provide high-quality patient interactions that respect diverse backgrounds and adhere to our established customer service standards.
• Implement treatment plans that incorporate comprehensive evaluations, continuous re-evaluations, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Document all treatment sessions and maintain records according to relevant laws and professional standards, ensuring accurate charge submissions for services rendered.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team to discuss patient care strategies and actively participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Supervise support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and maintaining departmental resources.
• Attend staff meetings and stay current with best practices through ongoing education and self-study.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop effective discharge plans and post-treatment recommendations.
• Monitor and document patient progress, discussing any necessary adjustments with attending physicians prior to implementation.
• Uphold licensure and regulatory compliance, maintaining a good standing with the relevant boards.

Qualifications
