The Forge Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is integral to empowering our clients and fostering their recovery in a supportive school environment. You will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions for adolescents battling mental health disorders and substance use challenges.

This position is offered remotely, allowing for flexibility while still connecting our clients within a school framework. You will work collaboratively with teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create a safe and effective therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities

• You will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans, which may encompass both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Engage clients in meaningful therapeutic activities designed to promote positive behavioral change, reducing dependencies while enhancing coping strategies.
• Regularly document client progress through detailed notes and evaluations, ensuring all records comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical director to complete chart audits and to finalize treatment notes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Foster a collaborative and professional relationship with colleagues and external partners, participating actively in staff meetings and case consultations.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall standard of care provided to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers around adolescent clients who are navigating mental health issues and dual diagnoses. You will work with a diverse group of young individuals, providing the necessary support and interventions to guide them towards recovery. Your approach will emphasize empathy, cultural competence, and age-appropriate communication to foster trust and engagement.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active LCSW license in the state of California, demonstrating your qualification to provide therapeutic services.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on social work, substance use treatment, or mental health counseling is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain and track patient data.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within educational settings, particularly in roles that involve collaboration with school staff and mental health services.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
• Knowledge of community resources available for client referrals and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The Forge Recovery Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
