Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of the client’s mental health status.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that resonate with their specific goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat mood disorders effectively.

• Educate and support clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and beneficial self-care practices, fostering an environment of understanding and growth.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout the duration of their treatment, making necessary adjustments to their plans based on their evolving needs and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mental health treatment to continually enhance service delivery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and partake in professional development opportunities to share knowledge and improve techniques.

• Advocate for the needs of clients, striving to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote mental health awareness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and related anxiety disorders. Your expertise will directly impact their mental health journey, guiding them towards recovery through personalized treatment and support.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Florida.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatments, particularly in modalities such as CBT and DBT.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate seamlessly with psychiatric professionals.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
