Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychologists and school staff, to integrate mental health services into students’ educational frameworks.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies or acute mental health episodes.

• Facilitate the referral process for clients requiring inpatient care or specialized mental health services, ensuring recipients receive appropriate and timely support.

• Screen patients for substance abuse issues, providing counseling or referrals to rehabilitation services where necessary.

• Educate clients and families about mental health resources, strategies for coping, and available services within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve students ranging from early childhood through adolescence, addressing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. Providing a safe and supportive space, the LCSW will foster trust and rapport with clients and their families to facilitate successful therapeutic outcomes.
