Work Environment

This role is entirely onsite, allowing for face-to-face interactions, fostering a personal connection with patients. You will work within a supportive environment, where collaboration and communication are prioritized to address patient needs efficiently. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, with time slots of either 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and accurately assess the health status of patients.
• Diagnose and provide treatment for acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatment plans, ensuring they align with individual patient’s health history and current health status.
• Develop and implement patient management policies and care procedures tailored to enhance patient outcomes.
• Facilitate appropriate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals when necessary for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient management, treatment options, and health outcomes.

As a Nurse Practitioner with Traditions Medical Health Clinic, you will engage with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from young children to older adults. Our clinic serves those with urgent healthcare needs and patients seeking general health advice. Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner studies (NP).
• An active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York is required.
• Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing primary or urgent care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient encounters efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to explain medication protocols to patients effectively.
• Exceptional communication abilities, particularly in stressful situations, combined with a compassionate demeanor.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
