Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders regarding client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Organize and manage your therapy schedule to efficiently conduct individual and family therapy sessions, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care.

• Coordinate and conduct necessary home visits for in-home assessments, chart reviews, and data collection to provide holistic support for clients.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to improve client care.

• Complete monthly progress notes and documentation, ensuring that all reports comply with established standards and legal guidelines.

• Lead training initiatives to educate staff on the implementation of mental health programs and documentation procedures.

• Serve as the public liaison, engaging with the community and fostering relationships to support mental health initiatives.

• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to effectively track client information, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mental Thrive, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, youth, couples, and families from varied backgrounds. Your role will involve addressing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will be instrumental in facilitating healing and growth through personalized therapy sessions and comprehensive support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Proficient in utilizing EMR software and other relevant technology tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience specializing in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
