Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to work from home while serving clients effectively. You will connect with our patients through a secure and confidential virtual platform, making mental health support accessible while still promoting professional engagement and teamwork. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to comprehensively understand each patient’s needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly adjust individualized treatment plans based on treatment goals and progress.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to foster positive patient outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to cultivate a sense of community among patients facing similar challenges.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to patients.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations with empathy and professionalism, providing crisis intervention as needed.
\n
• Keep meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
\n
• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to advance both personal and organizational goals.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to inform therapy approaches and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client population spans various demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a mental health therapist here, you will address a breadth of mental health conditions, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. You will play a vital role in guiding patients toward improved mental well-being and empowering them with the tools necessary for sustained emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
\n
• Exceptional knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong grasp of various evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
\n
• Understanding of best practices surrounding patient confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation and treatment plans.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting or direct service to diverse populations.
\n
• Experience with delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly in a virtual format.
\n
• Knowledge of community resources and ability to guide patients toward additional support services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
