About the Position

We are seeking a Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing 24‑hour weekend call coverage in an acute care hospital setting. This is an on‑call–only position with no scheduled clinic responsibilities.

Schedule Overview:

• 24‑hour call coverage
• Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
  • Alternatively, Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM may be considered
• Coverage needed for two weekends per month
• Holiday coverage is required

The physician will provide inpatient and emergency department urology coverage for adult patients. This is a general urology practice with no interventional radiology department onsite; higher‑acuity trauma cases are typically transferred to a tertiary care facility.

There is no clinic volume associated with this role. The position is purely call‑based, supporting a community hospital environment with an established urology team.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
DEA required
Minimum 5 years of experience
Proficient in general urology
Comfortable managing inpatient consults and ER call independently
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
