About the Position

We are seeking a Non‑Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing clinic coverage, procedures, and on‑call services . This role offers a flexible schedule with 1–2 weeks of coverage per month , including periodic weekend coverage.

Schedule Details:

• 1–2 weeks per month , flexible scheduling
• Mix of clinic, procedures, and call
• Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend coverage may be required (typically once per coverage block)

The cardiologist will provide care primarily to adult patients, managing both outpatient clinic visits and diagnostic/procedural responsibilities. The role includes collaboration with APP support and access to interventional cardiology when needed.

Clinical volume averages 17–18 patients per day . The onsite cath lab operates approximately 3 days per week , supporting procedural workflows.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Nuclear cardiology board certification required
Echocardiography board certification required
CT reading certification preferred (not required)
Active Pennsylvania Medical License (IMLC accepted)
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience

Proficiency in:
Nuclear stress testing and nuclear reads
Echocardiograms
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Cardioversions
Stress testing and echo monitors

Comfortable managing clinic patients and procedural workflows
Epic EMR experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
