Work Environment\n

This position operates within a fully remote setting, enhancing flexibility for both our therapists and clients. While our main outpatient office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, this role encourages a work-life balance by allowing you to manage your schedule from home. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge the needs of patients and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective and individual-focused treatment to diverse populations.

• Facilitate and co-lead psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and educate clients on common mental health issues.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient’s well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support clients during challenging situations, demonstrating quick decision-making and empathetic support.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them towards recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to refine skills and stay informed of the latest research and practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, and they present with varied mental health challenges, including but not limited to severe depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues. You will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery journeys by providing compassionate, individualized care that respects their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Tennessee as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing personalized treatment strategies.
\n
• Strong skills in delivering individual and group therapy, especially to a wide array of patients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication competencies that facilitate effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment, uphold professional boundaries, and adhere to ethical standards.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological applications relevant to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing mental health therapy.

• Experience in a remote work setting and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.

• Skills in crisis intervention and developing treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually.
