Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work in unison with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available coping resources to foster awareness and active participation in the healing process.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance your practice and the services we offer.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals affected by trauma, including adults struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and related conditions stemming from adverse experiences. Many of our patients seek therapeutic assistance to navigate complex emotional landscapes and regain control over their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a related setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and evidence-based practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, empathetic approach.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and manage crisis interventions effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have direct experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions and will demonstrate a commitment to professional development, including any relevant certifications in trauma-informed care or therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
