Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs through biopsychosocial evaluations, ensuring an in-depth understanding of their challenges and strengths.

• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating symptom resolution and improving daily functioning.

• Deliver individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy sessions, applying suitable therapeutic techniques according to clinical appropriateness.

• Actively engage as a primary or co-therapist in group therapy settings, contributing to the dynamic process of group support and healing.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatry and case management professionals, to ensure holistic care and efficient crisis intervention.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards by obtaining and documenting pertinent patient data effectively.

• Uphold the ethical standards of practice while adhering to agency policies and culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals and families facing mental health issues, couples navigating relationship challenges, and groups dealing with shared experiences, such as trauma or substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in clinical contexts.

• Specialization or expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma intervention, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Family Behavioral Guidance Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
