Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with cardiology-related issues, including symptoms of heart disease and hypertension.
• Diagnose and devise treatment plans for various cardiology conditions, such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and coronary artery disease, ensuring evidence-based practices are utilized.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that align with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Provide expert advice on preventative care strategies and lifestyle modifications to help patients manage their cardiovascular health.
• Regularly monitor patient progress through follow-up visits, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a concentration in cardiology or a Family Nurse Practitioner program that includes coursework in cardiology.
• Possession of the Cardiology Certified Nurse Practitioner (CCNP) credential from the Cardiology Nursing Certification Board (CNBC) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
