Work Environment

The rehabilitation center operates in a vibrant and supportive atmosphere, where teamwork is essential to our success. Our schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. As a full-time physical therapist, you will work primarily in our onsite rehabilitation center, collaborating with other healthcare professionals and utilizing your hands-on skills to guide patients throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with state practice acts, ensuring adherence to laws governing physical therapy practice and supervision.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations that include reviewing medical histories, conducting various assessments, and documenting results accurately.

• Implement effective treatment protocols based on assessment outcomes while adapting to the evolving healthcare environment and patient presentations.

• Consult with interdisciplinary teams and recognize changes in patient conditions to modify treatment plans when necessary.

• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient activities that reflect the continuum of care.

• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical services training requirements, adhering to state, local, and federal regulations.

• Evaluate, treat, and direct therapeutic interventions for patients in need of medical necessity while ensuring clear documentation of their needs.

• Participate actively in facility meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving access and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve primarily comprise individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Our focus is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that facilitates lasting recovery and improves functional mobility. As a Physical Therapist, you will be integral in guiding our patients through their rehabilitation journeys, employing evidence-based practices that lead to measurable outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

• Current state licensure as a DPT is essential for this role.

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required.

• Certification in CPR is mandatory to ensure patient safety and adherence to practice standards.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of outpatient experience is required, additional credentials or certifications in specialty areas such as sports medicine or manual therapy will be regarded as advantageous assets. Experience with electronic medical record systems is also preferred to facilitate effective patient documentation and care management.

Compensation and Benefits
