Regional Sales Manager

SUMMARY

\n

\n

RSM will be responsible for sales growth within the assigned territory. Manage independent manufacturer's representatives, authorized distributors and target OEMs within the territory to sell E-T-A’s full line of circuit breakers, relays and power distribution products.

\n

\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

\n
• Analyze assigned sales territory in light of corporate market strategy, identify strengths and weaknesses, develop territory sales plans to meet forecasts, strategic objectives and development of new business.
\n
• Create target accounts, set efficient and effective sales call plans and penetrate OEM accounts to achieve maximum sales potential.
\n
• Provide technical training and assistance to customers, prospects, manufacturer representatives and distributors.
\n
• Prepare reports to management on demand and maintain record of customer sales activities in the company CRM. Responsible for annual sales forecasting, competitive intelligence, and new business opportunity tracking.

• 50-75% daily travel on the road within assigned territory, including overnights, in support of territory sales plans and strategic objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

\n

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. 5+ years’ experience in Sales/Business Development roles within E-T-A’s key vertical markets.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

\n

Ability to work independently and self manage daily productivity, while at the same time work well in a team environment. Highly customer focused and posses strong closing and prospecting sales skills. Strong knowledge of E-T-A’s key vertical markets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data and understand general business concepts. Ability to prepare detailed business plans and conduct presentations in front of colleagues and customers.
