Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Valor Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, documenting findings that inform personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy services, utilizing a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy, to address a wide range of mental health issues.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers and psychiatrists, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care that addresses both psychological and social factors impacting clients' well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, employing your therapeutic expertise to assist clients in acute distress or emergency situations, guaranteeing their safety and stability during high-stress periods.

• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives, actively participating in workshops and seminars designed to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma related to mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A current, independent, and active license in California as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and build effective therapeutic relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.
