Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a personal caseload of clients, fostering positive, trusting relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to discuss progress, stability, and future appointments, facilitating feedback that can lead to successful outcomes.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are person-centered, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for every client.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and formulate appropriate treatment pathways.

• Provide weekly individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient clients who present a variety of mental health concerns. This includes, but is not limited to, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and grief, as well as providing support for families and children navigating complex emotional landscapes. Your therapeutic interventions will be essential in guiding clients toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent field.

• Active and unrestricted Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient environment.

• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools such as Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and other clinical software systems for documentation and client management.

• Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a focus on establishing therapeutic rapport.

• Comfort with conducting intake assessments to determine the immediate needs of clients.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in community health settings or clinics that serve diverse populations.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.

• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT).
