Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Allegiance Mental Healthcare, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients’ trauma histories and inform appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Crafting and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery, emphasizing patient resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate impactful treatment.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients through trauma processing and coping strategy development.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to aid patients in need of immediate support.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation to adhere to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities aimed at trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, ranging from childhood adversity to recent traumatic events. You will work with patients who may present with challenges such as PTSD, complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. Your role as a therapist will be pivotal in creating a path for healing and recovery, providing both individual and group therapy tailored to their specific experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
