Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration, for mood disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aimed at facilitating their individual goals and addressing specific needs.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families on management strategies for mood disorders, applicable treatment options, and self-care practices.
\n
• Regularly track and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as warranted by evolving circumstances.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic treatment for clients.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed of the latest research and techniques in the treatment of mood disorders.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions in line with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and team gatherings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of best practices.

• Act as a client advocate by promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders, aiming to reduce stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adults facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We serve a diverse clientele, and you will have the opportunity to impact patients from various backgrounds, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively assist and engage with individuals from different walks of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic methods specific to mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and work collaboratively within our team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, having at least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with psychopharmacology and experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support combined treatment approaches will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
