Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, supporting a flexible schedule. While the core operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs. Our community health clinic integrates telehealth capabilities, enabling you to connect with clients virtually while still participating in a collaborative and supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique needs, diagnosing conditions in accordance with established criteria.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, helping clients to navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

• Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions that promote mental wellness, resilience, and community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population spanning various demographics, including children, adults, and families. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele, including marginalized populations.
