Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health through comprehensive interviews and standardized evaluation tools.

• Document case histories and treatment plans accurately from initial consultation through the entire course of therapy, ensuring continuity of care.

• Develop and implement customized intervention and recovery strategies tailored for individuals, couples, families, and specific group dynamics.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and exercises to enhance client engagement and outcomes.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress against treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Manage referrals and liaise with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers for clients requiring additional support or hospitalization.

• Provide guidance and resources to family members to help them understand and manage the mental health challenges their loved ones face.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse array of individuals and community groups, including those facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and various co-occurring disorders. As a mental health counselor, you are entrusted with the task of meeting clients where they are, assisting them in navigating their unique challenges while fostering their resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Successful completion and passing of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically experience with AVATAR, for effective documentation and workflow management.

• An understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction disorders and the interaction of physical and mental health conditions.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices to ensure the delivery of quality care.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on building rapport with clients and co-workers.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, supplemented by a sign-on bonus.
