Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' emotional and psychological well-being, using evidence-based methodologies to inform your evaluations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student, incorporating therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.

• Document clinical interactions and treatment progress in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards, ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including educators and parents, to foster supportive environments both in schools and at home.

• Provide educational workshops and resources to students and their families, focusing on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and mental health awareness.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development to remain informed about the latest research and trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who are facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive symptoms. You will have the opportunity to work in a diverse environment that requires cultural competence and adaptability to best support students from various backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license in California is mandatory to practice.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with children and/or adolescents in mental health settings is essential.

• Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions is necessary, along with strong crisis intervention skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical, enabling effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues.

• A capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments is a must, alongside a collaborative spirit.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a school-based mental health setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with best practices in trauma-informed care delivery. Additional certifications or trainings in child and adolescent therapy modalities will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, as part of our commitment to supporting our team, we provide a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
