Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health statuses, employing standardized diagnostic tools and methods to identify key issues. Provide personalized counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed care to assist clients in effectively managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster a sense of community and shared experiences among participants dealing with similar mental health concerns, enhancing their healing process. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients, setting measurable goals and creating specific interventions to address their unique needs and track progress over time. Respond thoughtfully to crisis situations by providing immediate support, conducting safety assessments, and collaborating with emergency services when necessary. Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest trends in mental health treatment and fulfilling licensure requirements. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, many of whom are coping with moderate to severe mental health challenges, including mood disorders, personality disorders, and stress-related issues. Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State. Completion of a minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, meeting state regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ongoing engagement in professional development and adherence to ethical practice standards. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting individuals in their mental health journeys. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
