Key Responsibilities\n As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your daily activities are centered around the following core responsibilities: \n \n Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients through secure video chat, focusing on improving their mental health and overall well-being. \n Facilitate open discussions where clients can express their emotions and experiences, guiding them toward increased self-awareness and insight into their relationships. \n Advocate for your clients by helping them set and define meaningful goals tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. \n Assess each client’s mental health condition, creating and implementing treatment plans that embrace solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to their specific goals. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n In this role, you will work primarily with pre-screened adults who are classified as stable and present with low acuity mental health concerns. We utilize a personalized matching system to align you with clients who share your specialties and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic alliance and efficacy of treatment. Qualifications\n To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: \n \n Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. \n Possess active, unrestricted licensing to practice independently in the state of Washington as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). \n Demonstrate the ability to perform professional evaluations and make informed clinical decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation. \n Exhibit strong verbal communication skills and the capacity for empathetic engagement with clients. \n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have: \n \n Experience in a virtual counseling environment. \n A track record of successfully implementing treatment strategies with diverse populations. \n Additional certifications relevant to mental health treatment or specific therapeutic modalities. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience.
