Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough mental health assessments to establish a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs. \n Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each unique situation. \n Monitor and evaluate client progress towards established therapeutic goals and adjust interventions as necessary. \n Provide teletherapy services to accommodate the varying accessibility needs of clients. \n Document all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and professional guidelines. \n Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training opportunities to enhance therapy skills and stay updated on industry best practices. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The McGuire Diagnostic and Counseling Center serves a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with clients from varied backgrounds, helping them navigate their specific challenges and improve their mental health and overall well-being. Qualifications\n \n Current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a compassionate nature. \n Exemplary organizational and time-management capabilities, enabling effective client management and treatment delivery. \n Preferred Experience\n While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, experience in a community health clinic setting or private practice is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client engagement strategies is also advantageous.
