Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s psychological state, considering their medical history and current health conditions. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address psychiatric challenges and their relationship to physical health, updated regularly based on patient progress. \n Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices that promote healing and personal growth tailored to specific patient needs. \n Work closely with medical providers to create a holistic treatment approach, ensuring seamless coordination of care for all patients. \n Offer immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. \n Educate patients about the interplay between mental health and physical wellness, enabling them to take active roles in managing their health. \n Maintain accurate, confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with best practices in mental health care. \n Engage actively in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies for case management, and contributing to interdisciplinary care planning. \n Stay informed about current research and advancements in integrated care, enhancing your skills and approaches in therapy practices. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You'll be working with a diverse patient population, particularly focusing on individuals battling mental health issues alongside medical conditions. This may include adults with chronic illnesses, traumatic experiences, or emotional disturbances that require careful consideration of their overall well-being. Our approach is about understanding and addressing the complete picture of each patient's health, facilitating effective outcomes through collaboration and informed treatment strategies. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Valid licensure in Washington State as an LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, or LMFT. \n Strong foundational knowledge and professional experience dealing with mental health needs in patients who present complex, co-occurring medical issues. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport and trust with patients and colleagues. \n Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical guidelines and protecting patient confidentiality. \n Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in integrated care settings or collaborative care models. \n Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities. \n Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
