Key Responsibilities In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be tasked with a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized, person-centered, recovery-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Continuously assess clients' treatment requirements, adjusting plans as necessary to enhance their progress and engagement. Assist in the formulation and execution of individual service plans, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the care journey. Work alongside clients to cultivate essential skills in coping, problem-solving, and effective communication. Educate clients about available community services, acting as an advocate to connect them with beneficial resources. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and older who experience mental health disorders that hinder their ability to achieve community stability and independence. You will engage with individuals facing varied challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. By employing a recovery-oriented framework, you will nurture their strengths, promote resilience, and empower them to achieve their goals. Qualifications To qualify for this role, candidates must possess: A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. A current state license from the state board, such as: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) The ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating self-initiative and strong problem-solving skills. No disciplinary actions on the license. Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and professionalism in all client interactions. Technical proficiency, including computer literacy and access to reliable Wi-Fi for effective telehealth service delivery. Preferred Experience Ideal candidates should also have experience in providing direct clinical services and working within a community health setting. Familiarity with skill-building activities, symptom monitoring, and management techniques is advantageous. Experience in helping clients develop daily living skills, leisure time interests, and behavior management strategies will be critical to your success in this role. Compensation and Benefits We offer competitive compensation, with an annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
