This position is based in our outpatient office located in Fairview, New Jersey. Our facility is designed to provide a welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere for patients undergoing rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing diagnostic assessments to determine their physical capabilities and mobility limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's rehabilitation goals, ensuring adherence to prescribed medical guidelines.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in executing therapy plans, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of modalities such as traction and massage.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, preparing clinical records, evaluations, and discharge summaries as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss and review patient care plans during case conferences to ensure cohesive treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, assistive devices, and the overall physical therapy program for enhanced outcomes.
• Regularly assess the home environment of clients and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment to support independence and safety.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse group of outpatient clients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals needing rehabilitation after surgery or injury. We aim to provide holistic, client-focused care tailored to the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient, making it essential for our Physical Therapists to develop rapport and encourage active participation in their treatment plans.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong grasp of various therapeutic modalities.
• Competence in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software for accurate documentation and patient management, especially familiarity with Web PT.
• An unwavering commitment to professional integrity and high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing effective exercise programs and rehabilitation plans based on the latest research.

Compensation and Benefits
