Work Environment\n

This position will be conducted remotely, providing you with the flexibility to create a work-life balance while working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals. Although the role is primarily remote, you may occasionally engage with our outpatient office in Sacramento for team meetings and collaborative case discussions. Our work hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify the unique mental health needs of each client, utilizing assessment tools and evidence-based methodologies.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to each client's needs.

• Managing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and fostering a secure and respectful environment for client interactions.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other counselors to provide holistic care and address the comprehensive needs of clients.

• Participating in peer consultations and case reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning among colleagues.

• Providing education and resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues, treatment options, and community support services.

• Staying informed about advances in mental health research and treatment methodologies, ensuring the delivery of the most effective care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with varying degrees of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your role will be pivotal in facilitating their journey toward recovery and mental well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused interventions and psychotherapy techniques to meet the unique needs of individuals, ensuring effective and personalized care.

Preferred Experience\n
