Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and families, utilizing strength-based approaches to understand their unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy tailored to identified needs, ensuring therapy is effective and personalized.

• Complete and maintain accurate billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within established deadlines.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to ensure patients achieve and maintain stable functioning.

• Create discharge plans that prepare patients for self-sufficiency, connecting them with ongoing resources as needed.
\n
• Stay informed and comply with federal and state regulations, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and agency policies.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and education to maintain licensure and enhance therapeutic skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster collaborative care strategies and improve outcomes for all clients.

• Complete all necessary licensure renewals and mandatory training requirements to stay up-to-date in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client base, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.
