Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments, meticulously evaluating patients' histories to establish tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Employ therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient progress.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care, discussing treatment goals and adjustments as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support is rendered to patients in distress.

• Offer education to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping techniques, and available recovery resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist within our practice, you will primarily work with a diverse population of trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be critical in helping these clients navigate their unique challenges, fostering a safe space conducive to healing, and guiding them toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally within trauma-focused care settings.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient use of computer applications in a clinical context.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with strong internships or significant volunteer experiences in trauma care will also be considered. Experience providing telehealth therapy is advantageous, as it aligns with our digital delivery model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
