Overview Functional Family Therapist (FFT) - Boone area - AMIkids NC Family Services AMIkids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth develop into responsible and productive citizens. AMIkids’ mission is to protect public safety and positively impact as many youth as possible through the efforts of a diverse and innovative staff. AMIkids works in partnership with youth agencies, local communities and families. Responsibilities Provide community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model. Work with families to address behavioral, emotional, and relational challenges within FFT principles. Maintain flexibility in hours to meet family availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends, across various locations. Travel is required to deliver services at appropriate sites. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related Human Services field (or equivalent). Ability to meet professional standards, licensure/certification, and/or contract requirements. Flexibility to meet family availability including early mornings, late evenings and/or weekends.
