Commercial Painter – Join Team Omni

Omni Glass & Paint is hiring full-time Commercial Painters to join our growing team. We've been a trusted name in the industry since 1967, completing high-quality work on thousands of projects across Wisconsin - from hospitals and schools to offices, and beyond. Monday through Friday, first shift, with flexible start times as early as 6 am. Pay ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. We offer an excellent benefits package, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do
You'll apply paint, stain, or lacquer to interior and exterior surfaces to enhance and protect buildings and fixtures. A plus if you have experience with wallpaper and vinyl wall coverings. Day-to-day tasks include preparing surfaces by sanding or removing old finishes, patching holes or cracks, mixing and matching paint, and applying coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Some projects require setting up ladders or scaffolding, working at heights, or applying specialty finishes and wall coverings. You'll also follow safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment.

This role includes travel to job sites, primarily throughout Wisconsin. Occasional overnight stays may be required.

What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. You should be comfortable reading instructions and basic blueprints, doing simple math, solving on-the-job challenges, and working at heights. Experience in commercial or residential painting (1–3 years) is preferred but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights when needed is essential.
