Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, focusing on improving their mental health and overall well-being.

• Facilitate discussions surrounding emotions and experiences, enabling clients to gain critical insights into their behavior and relationships.

• Act as a client advocate, guiding them in defining personal goals and aspirations while supporting their journey toward achieving them.

• Assess clients' mental health conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based strategies utilizing your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Inner Horizon Counseling, our clients are pre-screened stable adults who present with low acuity issues. We do not handle severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus your expertise on individuals who can benefit from your guidance. Clients will be matched to you based on your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a good fit for both parties.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
\n
• Current and unrestricted licensure as one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). No limited or provisional licenses are accepted.

• Proven ability to make professional evaluations and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to client interactions.
\n
• Comfort with technology and a familiarity with digital tools to facilitate online counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or therapy, particularly in a remote setting.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and foster trust through effective communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with hours worked and experience. In addition to a weekly direct deposit for easy access to your earnings, we provide a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors to support your health and well-being.
